She will provide a brief history and background of the ERA Coalition\, followed by a timely update on the status of the federal ERA and state-level ERAs. \n\nThomas will explain how the ERA is essential to ensuring true sex equality for all and will offer an overview of the ERA Coalition’s two major 2026 initiatives\, “It’s Our ERA: Claim the 28th Amendment” and the “Elect Equality Campaign.” Zakiya will also highlight concrete actions people can take to help advance the ERA.
